I do not take health insurance. I am currently an out-of-network provider for most insurance plans. This means you are responsible for paying for sessions at the time of service, and I will provide you with a superbill (an invoice/receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. For more information about superbills, see the next question below.
-
A superbill is an itemized receipt that includes all the information your insurance company needs to consider reimbursing you for therapy services. You pay for sessions at the time of service, and I provide you with a superbill that you can submit directly to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.
To find out what portion of your sessions may be covered, contact your insurance company and ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits. You can also get a quick estimate of your potential reimbursement here.
Here are some helpful questions to ask your insurance provider:
Does my health insurance plan cover mental health services?
Can I see an out-of-network provider for therapy?
Do I have a deductible, and if so, has it been met?
What percentage of the session fee will be reimbursed, and what is the “usual and customary rate”?
Is there a limit to the number of sessions per year?
How do I submit a superbill for reimbursement?
Please note that you are responsible for the full session fee at the time of service, and any reimbursement will come directly from your insurance provider.

I’m 100% telehealth which means I see all of my clients virtually through a HIPAA compliant platform. If you reside in the state of California, we can work together!

Online therapy works much like in-person sessions, the only difference is that we meet through a secure, confidential video platform instead of in an office. You’ll be able to see and hear me in real time, just as if we were sitting across from each other.
Many clients find that online therapy actually helps them feel more comfortable and open, since they can do the work from their own safe space, whether that’s at home, parked in their car between school drop-offs, or in a quiet corner with a cup of tea.
All of the methods I use, including EMDR, Brainspotting, and the Flash Technique, can be done effectively online. You’ll still receive the same level of care, connection, and support, with the flexibility to fit therapy into your life in a way that feels doable and grounding.

I work with adult individuals. I do not see minors or couples.

Your first appointment is all about creating comfort and connection. We’ll spend time getting to know you, what’s been feeling heavy, what’s been working, and what you’d like life to feel like instead. You don’t have to have the perfect words or know exactly where to start. My role is to help you feel supported, understood, and at ease as we begin to map out your goals together.
We’ll talk about what brought you here, explore the patterns or experiences you want to shift, and discuss which approach, EMDR, Brainspotting, Flash Technique, or a blend, might best fit your needs. You’ll also learn what to expect in future sessions so you leave feeling informed and hopeful.
Above all, that first session is about you feeling safe, seen, and understood, the foundation for every piece of healing work we’ll do together.
-
The length of therapy looks different for everyone. It depends on your goals, what you’d like to work on, and how deeply you want to go. Some people come in with a specific experience or memory they want to process and feel meaningful relief in just a few months. Others choose to continue longer-term to deepen their healing, strengthen relationships, and build lasting confidence and calm.
Because the work I do is focused on healing, not just coping, many clients notice shifts faster than they expected, feeling more grounded, less reactive, and more connected to themselves within the first several sessions. Together, we’ll check in regularly to make sure you’re getting what you need and that therapy continues to support your growth in the most helpful way.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
